This notice explains which cookies iamgreat.com uses and how you can choose. It covers this website only; the I AM GREAT mobile app is covered by our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others, such as analytics cookies, are used only if you agree.
Necessary cookies
These cookies are always used. One remembers your choice, so we do not ask you again on every page; one remembers the language you choose in the language menu, only if you choose one; the other two are our own visit statistics, which show us how the site is used so we can improve it. They contain no personal data.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent | iamgreat.com | Remembers your choice for each category (analytics, advertising) | 6 months |
iag_lang | iamgreat.com | Remembers the language you chose in the language menu (only if you choose one) | 1 year |
iag_vid | iamgreat.com | Recognises your device across visits, so we can see how the site is used and improve it | 395 days |
iag_sid | iamgreat.com | Groups the pages of one visit, so we can see how the site is used and improve it | 30 minutes |
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used: number of visits, pages viewed, how visitors found the site, approximate country, language and type of device. We look at this information only in aggregated form. These cookies are set by Google (Google Ireland Limited).
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors (Google Analytics) | 2 years | |
_ga_<ID> | Keeps the state of a visit (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
If you reject, these cookies are never set and Google Analytics does not load.
Advertising cookies
We do not use advertising cookies.
Counting clicks without cookies
When you tap an App Store or Google Play button, open the I AM GREAT STORY site from our pages, or scan our QR code, we count it without cookies and without any identifier. We record only the button, the page, your browser's language, the type of device, the operating system and its version, the browser, and the approximate country and city derived from your network. We do not store your IP address and we do not use these counts to identify anyone.
Your choice
On your first visit you can accept all, reject all, or choose by category (analytics, advertising) under Customize. Accept all and Reject all are equally visible, and rejecting does not limit your use of the site. You can change your choice at any time, here or with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page:
You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
